How we plan and monitor all our operations is what sets us apart from many of our competitors.
It is important to us as an organisation that security for our clients goods, as well as our own assets, our people and vehicles, is paramount in the way that we operate.
OUR INTERNAL SECURITY MEASURES AND PROCEDURES ARE SET OUT BY INDUSTRY LEGISLATION, AS WELL AS THE PROCESSES OF GOVERNING BODIES.
The 'good practice' standard for road transport operators is to ensure that products loaded at a point of supply can safely and securely be transported to the final destination in line with customer expectations. We not only meet these expectations but many clients openly say that we exceed them. The facility to satellite track vehicles during transit is one that many of our clients take great confidence in, but it is difficult to know immediately whether there has been any attempt to access a vehicle.
To protect each consignment from any unauthorised access and prove the load being carried is delivered, as it set off, it is customary for McLanachan Transport to apply numbered seals to both doors and/or any locking device.
All our drivers are aware of these procedures and check each vehicle and consignment at set off and delivery, as well as reporting back to our head office.
Our insurers work in partnership with us to ensure that all consignments are considered for security and the safe transportation throughout.
